College Football/ NFL Best Bets
So, I slept in and missed the opportunity to pick the 11am games. With the slate we have today that doesn’t matter at all because we have, yet again, a plethora of games to pick for the rest of today and tomorrow.
Georgia @ Auburn (Dawgs -3) COVER
The Bulldogs will have to travel to Auburn to play the Tigers this afternoon. The Tiger’s defense has sputtered, giving up 24 points per game in their last four (none of their opponents were ranked). Georgia is blowing the hinges off the door as they are 8th in the country in rushing and second in the country in points against. The Dawgs should handle the Tigers and cover that spread.
TCU @ Oklahoma (O/U 62) OVER
The top two teams in the Big 12 clash as Baker Mayfield and company look to keep their playoff hopes alive as they host the #6 TCU Horned Frogs. TCU takes a Top 10 scoring defense into Norman to face arguably the best offense in college football. Oklahoma averages 45 points per game and are known for getting into shootouts. 62 seems really low for the O/U and there’s no doubt that tonight will be yet another shootout.
Disclaimer, the NFL is not fun to watch right now. There’s stars going down every week and there is so much politics it’s getting annoying as FUCK. This week’s slate of matchups are just pitiful. Can it be next year already?
Cleveland @ Detroit (Lions -11) COVER
A lame matchup, I get it but any time the Browns are favored to lose by less than two
touchdowns it’s a damn good bet. The Lions balled out against Green Bay this past Monday and they’ll look to continue their winning ways. I have a good feeling about the Lions offense as they are riding high after last week. Also, again, the Browns are the Browns.
Houston @ LA (48 O/U) OVER
The Rams are the best team in football it seems like. Okay maybe not in football but definitely top 3 in the NFC. LA averages a staggering 33 points per game and Houston
is going to struggle after a tough loss last week. Look for a high scoring game for LA and all you need is a touchdown or two out of the Texans and this should be a good bet for the over.
