Did Martavis Bryant Punch Out JuJu Smith-Schuster?

Source: Sports Illustrated:

Steelers receiver Martavis Bryant missed mandatory team meetings Monday, according to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Guard Ramon Foster told Bouchette that he thinks Bryant called out sick, but he wasn’t sure what happened with him.

This comes after Bryant mentioned teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster in a since-deleted Instagram comment. In response to someone writing to Bryant that, “JuJu’s better,” Bryant wrote, “Juju is no where near better than me fool all they need to do is give me what I want and y’all can have juju and who ever else.” In another comment, Bryant called Smith-Schuster the “future” and said he wanted to see him succeed, but that he also wants his own personal success.

Maybe JuJu got hit really hard in the head by a defensive back trying to make a tackle, or maybe, he got smashed in the head by Martavis Bryant after being triggered by an Instagram troll.  I think the facts point to the latter.  JuJu was minding his own business catching more passes, getting more yards, and scoring more TDs than Bryant on Sunday, while a Steelers fan watching the game decided to dive deep into the Instagram comments of a JuJu TD video.  As most sports fans do, he became attached to the unusual named, Dragonball Z lovin’ Steelers wide receiver, and decided to let everyone know his thoughts on JuJu being better than Martavis, unknowingly changing the fate of the Steelers locker room and Bryant’s career forever.  Martavis saw the comment, a flipped switched in his brain and all bets were off.  He walked over to JuJu’s locker and gave him some sweet chin music giving the man a concussion and getting himself sent to the scout team.  You tell me that’s not what happened.  All the information’s out there, just needed someone to solve the puzzle.  The lesson here is the internet always wins.

P.S. Martavis must’ve made pretty good contact…
