BSHW Daily Grind for 5/3/2017
Toronto Raptors @ Cleveland Cavaliers (Game 2):
Box: Cavaliers beat Raptors 125-103 to go up 2-0 in the series
Highlights: The first of two blowouts was a super boring game to watch besides some nice dunks. It was pretty much the LeBron history show as he moved up to 2nd all time in points in the playoffs passing Kareem Abdul Jabbar.
Houston Rockets @ San Antonio Spurs (Game 2):
Box: Spurs annihilate Rockets 121-96 to even the series at 1-1
Highlights: The big story here is that Kawhi scored 34 points on 13-16 shooting where Harden dropped 13 on 3-17. To big blowouts to start the series, maybe we can get some close games here. Tony Parker went down, but I don’t see that as a big deal because this is Kawhi vs Harden, make no mistakes about that.
Washington Capitals @ Pittsburgh Penguins (Game 4):
Box: Penguins hurt Capitals 3-2 to go up 3-1 in the series
Highlights: Sidney who? The Pens beat the Caps in a close one in their first post season game without captain Sidney Crosby. Also, the Caps are starting to become the biggest choker in any sport playoff history. Win a chip boys. Following article pretty much sums it up.
Anaheim Ducks @ Edmonton Oilers (Game 4):
Box: Ducks win a OT thriller to tie the Oilers at 2-2 for the series
Highlights: Drake Caggiula netted a goal with 1:45 left in the game to send it to OT, but the excitement was short lived as it took the Ducks 45 seconds to end the game in OT after a Jakob Silfverberg goal.
MLB Regular Season
Red Sox vs Orioles: Red Sox win 4-2 over the Orioles
Highlights: 2 ejections and a hit batter describe the perfect game 3 for this series. More to come later on this topic. God damn love this series, it’s more exciting than the playoffs.
Yankees vs Blue Jays: In a high scoring affair, the Yanks beat Toronto 8-6.
Highlights: The 6’7″ monster named Aaron Judge hit his 13th home run to extend the solo lead of this year’s home run race.
Enjoy you lazy bastards,
